FleXmountTM Arms: The next generation of the FleXmountTM System

The FleXmount™ System is the easiest way to professionally and consistently mount an Aaki Motor Shaft Grounding Module to almost any motor topology.  The original FleXmountTM bracket consists of two arms, that are a given angle apart and a given length.  By picking the arm angle and length, a user can choose a bracket to match a particular motor configuration.  Aaki designed and stocks a wide selection of FleXmountTM brackets to fit just about any application and more styles are being added all the time.  It’s a great system.

But, what if we could do away with choosing two features?  What if we could make the choice even simpler?

Introducing the next generation of FleXmountTM products.

FlexMount™ Arms.

Arms are used as a pair and are securely bolted individually to the MSGM.  Each arm can pivot on the MSGM independently of the other, allowing the user to set the ARM angle to anything.

Now rather than choosing a FleXmountTM bracket with fixed arms, the pair of arms can be set to any angle.

Since each arm rotates independently on the MSGM, the user can set the arm angle to reach any mounting site on the motor end bell.  This allows great flexibility in mounting to the motor endbell in almost any orientation.  They can move around the module like the arms of a clock.

 

The process is SIMPLE:

  • Choose the closest FleXmount™ Arm that will have the correct reach from the location of the MSGM to the mounting spot.
  • Use our patented bending tool to bend the Arms to place the MSGM at the desired point on the shaft
  • Swivel the FleXmountTM Arm to the desired angle on the endbell
  • Bolt the Arms to the endbell
  • Tighten the Arm pivot screws to secure the MSGM

The FleXmount™ Arm system is designed to be extremely sturdy, ensuring maximum durability and reliability. The entire FleXmountTM system is very rigid once mounted and the finished product looks professional.

In some cases, the bracket will bolt directly to the motor’s endbell mounting bolts, eliminating the need for drilling holes.
